The Biomedical Diagnostics Institute invites students from Irish Universities to apply for Summer Research Internships at the California Nanosystems Institute (CNSI) at UC Santa Barbara. The programme will run from 19th June - 26th August 2011. Students will receive a stipend of approximately €300 a week. Students will also receive assistance finding flights, accommodation and any visa documents required.

Students will work on an independent research project within a research group based at CNSI.

Projects will be determined depending on student background. Please see areas of research here:
