The human body is made up of about 210 different types of cell, and there are about 100,000,000,000,000 (one hundred trillion) cells in total! But this number is the scientists' best guess - there are SO many cells that we could never count them all.

The number of cells depends on the size of the person, so a child will have fewer cells than an adult.
