The History of Flat Scientist
The Flat Scientist Project is an initiative which aims to create a primary school scientific community and to provide a link between participating MAMBO schools. A MAMBO class can create their own flat scientist - a piece of visual art (eg a drawing on an A4 page) that can be sent to another participating school. The host school then treats the flat scientist as a visitor and takes pictures and make reports on the MAMBO work they have undertaken for the flat scientist to take back to its own school. In this way, MAMBO is taken out of the confines of the classroom and allows the students to examine the MAMBO work completed by other classes and to share their own hard work.
