Meningitis is an inflammation of the meninges, the lining surrounding the brain and spinal cord.

This project involves the development of a diagnostic device to detect the three target organisms that are the primary causative agents of bacterial meningitis, N. meningitidis, S. pneumoniae and H. influenzae.
